Project Overview
Colaberry as a company and an educational program has been rapidly growing and the number of students continues to rise. As such, managing every student on their project journey is a challenge, the old process made it difficult to identify the efficiency of each project, identify and analyze every student’s activity and assist students in the completion of their projects in a timely fashion.
Efficiency is a big part of project management due to the fact that it requires people to work intelligently rather than putting in hours that generate no value to the project. Efficiency is a crucial companion and the most important factor for project success because developers are accountable to their end-users about how they spend their time, energy, and whether not the project will be completed in time.
The focus of this project is increasing the success of project completion, as well as project efficiency and efficacy. This in turn will increase student placement and overall satisfaction with the program.
With the help of this project, Colaberry will be able to know:
· Which projects are behind?
· Which tasks are the students working on?
· How well are the students managing their tasks?
· Are students staying ahead or behind on their schedule?
· When and how often are students updating their tasks?
The project will build automation that will detect certain KPIs in the project process and reaches out to the students/alumni automatically to help guide them through the project.

For Colaberry School of Data Analytics, building projects is one of the major keys to success. A project allows a person to go find a real dataset and send it through a 34-step process designed to turn that data into insight and bring out the story of the data. These projects help everyone in the Colaberry Network stay informed on the latest trends in each of the respective tools including but not limited to SQL Server / Qlik / Tableau / PowerBI / Python / Machine Learning. All students must build and use these projects to create content for their resumes as they transition their careers to Data Analytics and Data Science. Colaberry currently has 100+ people working on projects and as they grow will certainly double and triple that number really soon. This process only has one manager and a few helpers. How do you create a system that will allow one Manager to manage over 100 projects with ease and still be effective?
