About  

Hi, My name is RECOIT MBEMBO BASALA, I am graduated I am a certified BI/EDW/ETL. I graduated from ISIPA/Kinshasa with my bachelor’s degree in Information systems and database administration. Since I have been in this field, I have had the opportunity to work in multiple different industries such as Telecommunication, Customer Service, and Banking. I have utilized SQL Server (versions ranging between 2010 – 2016), Oracle SQL (version 20.4.1.1.407), and Tableau Desktop, and online (2021.2 recent), I have skills with Agile methodology too.

As a Tableau /ETL developer, I am able to start a project from scratch by creating a store procedure, joins, CTE, Temporary Tables, and so on. Also, Basically, I use a store procedure to provides an important layer of security between the user interface and the database. I use joins, to link tables and get the results that we need; most time I use CTEs and Temp tables to fight duplicated values in the table. Also, I can build from scratches an ETL solution to solve big problems by creating staging layers to collect all data coming from diverges sources, transform those data by creating an error handling process and apply some business rulers, avoid some duplicated values and load those into the ODS or Data warehouse by feeding dictionaries tables, facts and dimensions tables as well. In addition, I also have experience in SSRS.

    • I built reports from scratch, modify, update, and publish the complex dashboard with SQL data sources to form the test layer to the production layer.
