Project Overview

This dataset contains data on the number of STD infection rates in America. The data includes the disease, the code for the disease, the state where the STD was found, the year the STD was found, the gender of the STD, the age, and more. This dataset can help us to understand how STD infections spread and how to prevent them. The dataset contains information on STD cases in the US from 2000 to 2010.

Role:

I was the project involved building an end-to-end business intelligence solution that facilitated tracking essential KPIs such as Total Cases, Rate, Rate Per 100k, and Rate Year over Year. Additionally, I enabled regional performance comparison, analysis of Cases by age groups, and identification of high-rate cases by disease. By utilizing Power BI\\\'s robust features and visualizations, I provided the organization with actionable insights to drive informed decision-making and improve disease control strategies.

Despite the availability of effective prevention measures, STDs remain a significant public health problem worldwide. Every year, millions of people are infected with STDs, causing a wide range of health problems, including infertility, cancer, and even death. Some of the challenges that contribute to the persistence of the STD problem include. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates. In the United States alone, more than 110 million people currently have an STD, with 20 million new infections occurring each year. The highest STD rate in Mississippi is 1,291.4 per 100k.
