Project Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on people\\\'s lives worldwide. My project will cover the global COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2022. In this project, I want to show how many people confirmed the total number of deaths and cases, as well as how that number changes from month to month and on a daily basis.

Problem Statement

COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization in March 2020. COVID-19 is the disease caused by SARA-CoV-2. The announcement came as concerns about a new, potentially lethal virus that was rapidly spreading around the world grew in the coming months. A year later, around April 2021, the number of cases increased by 18% month over month, while the number of deaths increased by 28% month over month. It was an emotional time, characterized by rapid daily counts of new cases and deaths. Over the course of more than two years, more than 500 million people worldwide have been infected with COVID-19, and more than 6 million have died. Many of us have lost loved ones in the last year, and the grief, combined with the isolation required to avoid infections, has had an impact on our daily lives.

Key Takeaways

As we observe more vaccinations being completed and reopening happening across the country, we can see the end of the COVID-19 pandemic is on the horizon. Now is the time to reflect on what the biggest takeaways have been from this life-altering, not to mention business-altering, experience. Earlier in the year, we discussed the opportunities that the pandemic presented for your business, which included learning many new skills such as PPE management, IPAC protocols and practice management. However, potentially the most important positive to take away from this pandemic is the extra time that was able to be spent with family and biggest positive takeaway was, time spent with family and living life at a slower pace was the number one result.

Next Steps

1. According to the data, the highest number of Cases per Day occurred in June 2022, with 18,419,383 reported globally. Furthermore, in February 2022, the death toll per day reached 207,911. This is the most deaths recorded during the pandemic. As a result, my advice for disease prevention is to get vaccines because they are the most effective way to reduce their risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death.

2. In general, the world\\\'s largest month-to-month deaths increased to 50% in January 2021. A year later, in January 2022, the number of cases increased to 32%, the highest monthly increase. This happened after the lockdown was lifted and the new vibrant appeared. Despite the fact that the case is at its peak in 2022, monthly deaths have dropped dramatically to -13% in April 2022.
It is very encouraging that the death rate has decreased significantly; therefore, my recommendation is that COVID-19 testing at home be provided free of charge. If you have a positive self-test result, stay at home or isolate yourself for 10 days, wear a mask if you come into contact with others, and contact your healthcare provider.

3. Based on the data, deaths decreased year by year between 2020 and 2021. Death month over month was 43% in 11/2020, 6% in 11/2021, but the data shows an up and down trend in numbers over the years due to the new strain. As a result, my recommendation for disease prevention is to get an updated booster shot at least two months after completing your primary vaccine series. also Follow up with local help as well.
