Adidas AG is one of the largest sportswear manufacturers in the world, with a strong presence in Europe and second only to Nike globally. With a brand value of 16.5 billion U.S. dollars, it is the fourth-largest apparel brand in the world, and it is considered as one of the most valuable athletic apparel, accessories, and footwear companies. In 2021, Adidas surpassed Nike in terms of customer satisfaction in America consumers, achieving a score of 79 out of 100.

The purpose of this project is to analyze Adidas USA sales between 2020 and 2021. The report will utilize key performance indicators such as total sales, sales per month, sales month-over-month percentage, total operating profit, operating profit margin, and operating profit margin month-over-month percentage to analyze the sales and profit of the company. This analysis will help the company understand the performance of their sales and take necessary actions to improve it.

Adidas’s global net sales amounted to about 21 billion euros in 2021, signifying an increase on the prior year, which saw lower sales caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Due to the pandemic the company’s operating margin decreased 7.5 percentage points to 3.8% and net income from continuing operations decreased 78% to € 429 million. Currently, North America and Greater China are some of Adidas\\\' most important markets, as these regions combined accounted for nearly 50 percent of the company\\\'s annual retail sales.
