In the US alone, the pizza restaurant industry has been on the rise, exceeding $45 billion in sales in recent years. One such restaurant is Plato’s pizza, and I’ve analyzed its sales data from 2015 to help identify opportunities to drive more sales and work more efficiently.

The analysis reveals some interesting insights. For example, the average order price for pizza size small had increased by 0.96% in September 2015 but decreased by 1.32% in October 2015. Additionally, the average order price between 6 pm to 7 pm increased by 2.94% in June 2015, but it decreased by 2.11% during the same hour in May 2015.

Pizza restaurants are an important segment of the restaurant industry in the United States. Pizza restaurant sales exceeded 45 billion U.S. dollars in the recent years.

Since 2012, the number of pizza restaurants in the U.S. has been on the rise, increasing by over 6000 units in the last eight years to a high of more than 78 thousand units recently.
