since COVID-19 vaccine distribution began in the United States, more than 610 million doses have been administered at an average rate of 24,332 doses a day, fully vaccinating over 224.4 million people or over 65% of the total U.S. population, about 263.1 million people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 which will be in percentage over 74%. The purpose of this project is to give us an idea of how many people got vaccinated in general and how many got fully vaccinated. We will be able to see the vaccination trend in charts and see the month over month, day over day rates, also an average rate of vaccine per month. In addition, we will be using waterfall chart, in order to do a comparison by using multiple measures which will be the KIP\'S.

Problem Statement

The outbreak has dramatically changed Americans’ lives and relationships over the past year. More than 245 million Americans have rolled up their sleeves for the coronavirus vaccines, but still a significant share of eligible population about 40% is not fully vaccinated. Progress in COVID-19 vaccination slowed after April 2021, and millions of Americans remain unvaccinated. A big reason has false information spread online and in person has persuaded many people to skip the shot in addition rural residents were less likely to be vaccinated against Covid_19 than urban residents. Based on this report while over 50% of the population in every U.S State is now fully vaccinated; some states are much further ahead than others. But states like Wyoming, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana Idaho, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, North Dakota and Indiana are behind.

Next Steps

As of September 29, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports there have been 95,972,697 cases of COVID-19 in the United States. Since the start of the pandemic, 1,051,949 people in the U.S. have died from COVID-19. In the last seven days, California reported the highest number of new deaths with 262, followed by Michigan with 160. Almost two years into the covid-19 vaccine rollout, several states are still struggling to immunize their residents. Therefore, especially those states with lowest covid-19 vaccine should double up their vaccination system in order to show more progress. The best way to slow the emergence of COVID Variants is to get vaccinated. Studies show that people vaccinated against COVID-19 are likely to be less contagious than non-vaccinated people. Based on these facts here are my recommendations

1. Help Stop COVID-19 by Getting Vaccinated.
2. Avoid crowds and practice social distancing (stay at least 6 feet apart from others).
3, If you travel, wear a high-quality mask or respirator the entire time you are around others indoors. (Travelling by private vehicle (if possible) can lower the chances of spreading covid-19 to others.
4. Make sure you know your test results before travel.
