Project Overview

Movie is a type of visual communication scenario which uses moving pictures and sound to tell stories or teach people something. Movies affect many of us powerfully because the combined impact of images, music, dialogue, lighting, sound, and special effects can elicit deep feelings and help us reflect on our own lives, the lives of those around us and even how our society and culture operate.
There are different elements of movie, which is narrative, cinematography, sound, editing, actor/actress, directing etc. These elements help determine the film and a way to judge the movie. Audiences and film critics make these determinations. The ratings are not intended to approve, disapprove, or censor any movie. Rather, ratings offer guidance to parents regarding the level of content in a movie. After those coming nominations, conducted using both paper and online ballots. Every Academy member gets to choose nominees. Once the nominations are in, all the categories become open for the Academy members, and they can vote across categories and select the winner.

Problem Statement

The audience score represents the amount of people who have rated the movie or tv show positively. This is made up of verified ratings, which is a percentage of people who we have a verification of, that they have bought a ticket. It is shown once there is enough of verified ratings in form of a score. When at least 60% of users have rated the movie or show 3.5 or higher a full popcorn bucket is shown to indicate Fresh status. When < 60% of users rate the movie or show lower than 3.5 a tipped over popcorn bucket is shown to indicate rotten status. This shows people if the movie or show is good or not which can have a big effect on the success of the movie and whether it would get awards.
