Superstore is an e-commerce business that has a warehouse to store the products for shipping and receiving. Sales are done online, and shipment is offered to all states in the USA. The purpose of the project is to analyze sales thus providing analysis and perspective on the way business is trending. This is for the business to either maintain course or make changes to optimize sales.
This report is to analyze sales. This will be achieved by analysis on Sales Per Month, Sales Month over Month Rate, Sales Year over Year Growth Rate, Profit Margin, and Average Discount. The reports will be based on States, Region, departments, and Categories.

Problem Statement

E-commerce business has a failure rate of about 80%. Many mistakes occur when building an e-commerce business as followed by selling the wrong products, pricing is way off, and bad marketing plan.

The problem at Superstore is how to be more competitive in e-commerce to maintain and grow their share of the retail market. Superstore will need to do more online transactions to compete with its competitors.

E-commerce gives businesses the ability to reach more customers than traditional retail. With so many people making their purchases online, it is the fastest-growing retail market. Statistics show that 96% of Americans with access to the internet have made a purchase online.
