Project Overview

We all know that Mass Shootings is as a result of Gun circulation to the general public, Because Gun laws in the US vary considerably between States. The majority of legislation relating to guns is enacted at the State level and these laws are independent of Federal firearms laws. This has resulted in a broad variation of gun laws in all the US States with each State taking a different approach on issues such as permits, carry laws, sales, and self-defense laws. In some states the firearms laws can be much less restrictive than federal laws. However, individuals are not exempt from federal laws just because the state laws are less restrictive. In this project we will be focusing on Victims Of Mass Shootings in United States from 1966 to 2017. Now let us step back and see how much damage has been caused by Mass Shootings. This Dashboard focuses on Victims of Shooting, Shooting Attacks, Year over Year Shooting Victims and Month over Month Shooting Victims. I want the viewer to directly see the impact of Mass Shootings in the country, also to see what time , Locations, Age and Race that are involved in the Mass Shootings by comparing them yearly, monthly or weekly.

Problem Statement

Mass Shootings are problematic because they are getting more deadly and more frequent , Mass Shootings are defined as a single Shooting incident which kills or injures four or more people , including the assailant or shooter. It shows that Shootings was motivated by act of Terrorism, Revenge, Racism and some cases Psycho.

This report shows that in 2017 , Nevada recorded the highest number of victims of Mass Shooting which Amount to 585, while that shooting had many Victims , California and Texas lead the way in attempts.
