Vaccinating The World For Coronavirus

Project Overview

Since an outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that was first reported from Wuhan, China, on 31 December 2019. Scientists around the world had been working faster than ever to develop and produce vaccines that can stop the spread of COVID-19. After almost a year of research, In December 2020, the UK became the first country in the world to approve this vaccine and began rolling out an initial 800,000 doses at the start of the month.

This project aims to find those countries that are vaccinating their people the most and countries that are vaccinating their people the least, to find a hierarchal structure of where Vaccines need to be administered more, as well as give a clear understanding to the user which are the least vaccinated countries for more specific insights.

The dashboard tracks the people received 1 dose, people received 2 doses (fully vaccinated), dose per day of people received 1 dose, WoW % of people received 1 dose, MoM % of people received 1 dose, dose per day of people received 2 doses, WoW % of people received 2 doses, and MoM % of people received 2 doses for world countries using data provided by GitHub.

Problem Statement

Dealing with the unforeseen challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a significant toll on people all across the world. As of June 2021, there are over 172,680,078 infected and 3,576,848 death cases across the globe. The entire world is questioning, How long will the pandemic last? And how long will it take for the world countries to be fully vaccinated?
