Problem Statement
As of January 2020 up to the present, the world has experienced a pandemic of devastating proportions impacting Countries on all different levels from Geo-Political, Socio-Economic, and Health. According to medical historians, there have been 9 influenza pandemics in the past 300 years roughly averaging 3 per century and almost every nation has experienced a rate of excess mortality especially from pre-existing conditions.
Executive Summary
Since January 2020 an outbreak of a coronavirus known as COVID-19 has hit pandemic proportions creating setbacks for lives and jobs all around the world to our current date. This dashboard aims to find those areas affected the most, to find a hierarchal structure of where Vaccines need to be administered, as well as give a clear understanding to the user where the most affected areas occur for more specific insights.
Next Steps
Vaccinations seem to be the logical answer at this juncture but more importantly the area of where the vaccinations need to be administered first. The Middle East needs aid especially in Countries like Yemen but more importantly constant monitoring of the recovery rate as to flatten the curve to create Herd Immunity.
